Paul M Baker is a highly experienced and successful business consultant, specialising for over 30 years in the natural and private health sectors. For many years he was Business Editor of The International Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine and advised the UK House of Lords Scientific and Technical Committee on Complementary Medicine on the Business Module for new UK Occupational Standards. Amongst the dozens of clients he has helped, including 10 Harley Street, The Hale Clinic and the British Complementary Medicine Association (BCMA), Paul was instrumental in reversing the fortunes of the famous Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) in Bournemouth, UK, helping to take it from near bankruptcy to over capacity in under 4 years. He was also the driving force behind Shanshui Royal Jelly, a brand he created for an MLM company which was subsequently sold to the UK Supermarket ASDA chain for nearly £10 million.
Paul has also followed a dual career as a professional musician – French horn player, composer, conductor and pianist. He has played with and conducted, many of the world’s leading orchestras, served on the Royal Yacht Britannia, the UK Royal family’s personal ship, has worked with stars such as George Michael, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey and Michael Jackson and has won awards for his compositions including in 2015 The Best Musical Audience Choice Award for his musical The Rising Son. In 2020 Paul was selected for inclusion in the publication “Malaysia’s Most Successful People” for services to the Malaysian music industry.
